Lewis and Clark: Then and Now
July 12-19, 2026 | Portland, Oregon
Join us for an immersive, week-long journey through the Pacific Northwest as we trace the footsteps of the Corps of Discovery and explore how the legacy of Lewis and Clark continues to shape Oregon and Washington today. Designed specifically for high school students, this homestay-based, experiential learning program blends history, geography, environmental science, and cultural studies into an engaging and interactive adventure.
From vibrant cities to rugged coastlines and the majestic Columbia River Gorge, students will compare the world Lewis and Clark encountered in the early 1800s with the region as it exists today—diverse, dynamic, and deeply connected to its past.
