On March 2nd, 2026, members of the Innovation Team attended a planning meeting for the upcoming summer domestic immersion program in Chicago, The Table We Share. Emily Betz Close traveled to Chicago in person to join in the planning and meet the team. Approximately 13 Greater Chicago area team volunteers and Chicago-based staff attended, excited to take on the challenge of showing off the best, most quintessential cuisine of Chicago and the culture and stories behind it all.
