In October 2025, AFS-USA gathered staff for a three-day, in-person gathering in Nashville, Tennessee. This was a chance for colleagues across the organization to build relationships, share ideas, and come together to look towards the future of AFS-USA.
One of the themes of the staff meeting was Innovation at AFS-USA. The Innovation Team led interactive sessions highlighting the work currently underway and inviting staff to brainstorm new ways we can innovate across the organization. Together, we explored ideas and potential new programs aligned with our Domestic Agenda.
The team also launched two new ways for staff and volunteers to get involved in this exciting work:
