Overview

Volunteers are the heart and soul of AFS. They play a vital role in all aspects of our work, from coordinating local events to helping students start their journey abroad. With a community of more than 2,600 dedicated volunteers nationwide, AFS is empowered to promote peace and understanding throughout the world.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to put your organizational abilities to use by working with one of our 70+ volunteer teams across the country. You’ll use your networking and people skills to match the needs of AFS to the skills and interests of local volunteers.
