Elita Hawley Scholarship

Local scholarships for students from California.


Made possible by the generosity of the Hawley Central California AFS Endowment Fund

The Elita Hawley Central California AFS Endowment Fund is a non-profit corporation, independent from AFS Intercultural Programs, that awards scholarships to students participating in AFS programs. Each year, the Hawley Endowment Fund awards approximately $30,000 in scholarships to students pursuing an AFS study abroad program.

Scholarship Details:

The Hawley Endowment Fund offers up to two (2) full scholarships in the range of $10,000 to $15,000. The Fund, also offers smaller scholarships:

Eligibility:

The Hawley Endowment Fund will accept applications from prospective AFS students who live in or attend high school in California.

How to Apply:

  1. Submit a FAST financial aid application.
  2. Complete the Elita Hawley Central California Endowment Fund Scholarship application.

Deadlines:

November 15 - if you are applying for a study abroad program departing between January and March.

May 1 - if you are applying for a study abroad program departing between June and September.
