The Phyllis Runkel Scholarship is a $3,500 scholarship for any study abroad participant from the Canandaigua Academy in Canandaigua, New York. Student must be accepted by AFS and the international partner in order to receive the scholarship.
Application Deadline: Submit your application by April 1, 2022
Must meet the following requirements:
- Be in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade at Canandaigua Academy (www.canandaiguaschools.org/academy).
- Have a minimum GPA of 80%
- Write an essay (no more than one page) on the following topic: “Why are you participating in a foreign exchange program, and why do you feel you are uniquely qualified for this scholarship?”
