
AFS-USA’s third domestic pilot program of the summer has just kicked off! The itinerary is focused on exploring Chicago’s rich culture and history through food and storytelling. After getting acquainted with each other, the Greater Chicago volunteer planning team, and their host families, the eight pilot participants headed downtown on Monday 7/27 to discover some of Chicago’s most iconic attractions and cuisine. The students and volunteers braved an exciting day of extreme weather for an architecture boat tour, visits the financial district and the Bean, and more.
