  • 3 Commonly-Asked Questions About Hosting Exchange Students... Answered

When people hear that our family hosts exchange students, we tend to get a lot of the same questions.

The One World Team covers most of the state of Indiana and a small part of Michigan near the South Bend/Elkhart area. We are scattered in such cities as Elkhart, Goshen, Indianapolis, Noblesville, Fort Wayne, Plymouth, Lafayette, and others. We are always looking for new volunteers!

We bring high school students from all over the world to live in our area for year-long or semester-long programs. While here, they attend local high schools, make friends, and become a part of their host family.

How can you get Involved?

We have AFS Chapters -- consolidated groups in a smaller geographical area -- in Noblesville and Plymouth that create a more community focused experience for AFS participants in those areas.  We encourage any interested person to spearhead such a chapter in your town.  The team is ready to assist you to get started and work trough the process. Give us a call, or send us email to learn how getting involved can change your life!
