Global Leaders is our flagship need-based award program for students who are in need of financial assistance.

Global Leaders need-based scholarships are available for qualified students. Average need-based awards may vary based upon the AFS program length:

  • Up to $500 for Global Prep
  • Up to $1,250 for Summer Programs
  • Up to $2,000 for Semester and Year Programs

Arizona

Flagstaff, Phoenix, Prescott, and Tucson Metro Areas

Made possible by the generosity of the Carstens Family Funds. Beat the heat in Arizona this year and study abroad with AFS, while taking advantage of some significant scholarship opportunities.
Students from Phoenix, Flagstaff and the Prescott metro areas may qualify for Global Leaders need-based awards covering up to 90% of the AFS program fee.*

Arkansas

Ventura County

Students attending either Ventura High School or Buena High School may be eligible for a Global Leaders need-based scholarship of $2,500.*
