Craig Wilson was a journalist for more than 40 years, spending 30 years in the newsroom at USA Today. He was a feature writer there and for 20 years wrote a popular weekly column called The Final Word. “It’s the Little Things: An Appreciation of Life’s Little Pleasures,” is a compilation of his columns from Random House. He is also the author of “Mothers and Children” a photo/essay collection from National Geographic. Craig is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University. He is still in touch with his English brother and sister, proving that AFS bonds can indeed last 50 years. (It helps that his AFS sister now lives on a hillside in Tuscany where he visits often.). An avid traveler – sparked by his original AFS adventure – he now travels the world with his husband, Jack Cahill, a retired epidemiologist. They reside in Washington, D.C.
