Global You Adventurer Program

The AFS Global You Adventurer program is a 100% online global experience designed for young people around the world. Facilitated and offered by our parent network that connects over 60 countries around the world, AFS International, this course has been designed in consultation with Ivy League institution University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) to ensure an impactful learning experience.

This blended learning course is designed to equip 14 to 17 year olds with social tools to champion:

  • Agency: how to stand for important issues and help make the world a better place
  • Intercultural understanding: how to be part of a global community
  • Diversity: what makes differences between cultures important and beautiful
  • Interpersonal communication: why we all need to build our empathy muscles
  • Equality & advocacy: what to do about the inequalities you encounter around you
  • The award-winning AFS Global Competence Certificate, which prepares you for future education opportunities and opens up new career pathways
  • Lifelong membership in the AFS global alumni network
  • New connections and friends from around the world!
