In partnership with the US Embassy in Thailand, we are very pleased to offer seventeen full merit-based scholarships toward the 2010 Thailand Semester Teacher Assistant Program.
Who is eligible
- High School graduates, preferably over 18 years old with some college experience
- Must be in good medical/psychological health
- Teaching experience is useful but not required
- Must be US Citizen with excellent English communication skills

How to apply
By February 1:
- Submit a preliminary application with “2010 Thailand Educators Program Summer Departure” as one of your program choices
- Submit your full Community Service Program Application, including interview with an AFS Volunteer (please plan ahead as it can take awhile to coordinate your schedules), reference letter, and thorough essay responses on the “CS Project” form. No additional essay or financial aid application is required for scholarship consideration.
Scholarship winners will be announced in early March.
