Attend one of AFS’s online information sessions to fully prepare for an AFS program. An online session is a convenient resource for you to learn the AFS basics, while also being able to ask questions and connect with others interested in AFS programs.
What’s needed? A phone and an Internet connection. Learn more about our variety of online sessions and sign up for the next available date below:
- The AFS Basics – Online Info Sessions
Want to study abroad, but not sure where to begin? If you’re ready to explore the world with AFS but need a hand getting started, sign up for an Online Info Session and get the full picture on how to become an AFSer.
- 18+ Gap and Adult Program Online Info Sessions
If you are interested in participating in an AFS program after high school, attend an 18+ Gap and Adult Program Information Session to learn about your options.
- For Parents – Online Parent Sessions
AFS understands that choosing to study abroad with AFS is a family decision. An Online Parent Session provides interested parents an interactive opportunity to discuss, with other parents, the decision to send your student abroad with AFS. An AFS staff person will host the discussion and provide helpful details.
- All about the Money – Online Fundraising Workshops
Join forces with other future AFSers to plan your fundraising strategy for an AFS program. Fundraising Workshops provide an ideal forum to brainstorm effective money-raising ideas with other students, while getting extra planning expertise from AFS staff.
- AFS Path: Application and Beyond Workshops
If you are working on your full application, or have completed it and want to know what happens next, sign up for an Application Workshop to stay fully informed during this exciting time. NOTE: This workshop is only for students who have already submitted a preliminary application.
