AFS: This is our moment.

The International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development (IVD) began on December 17th, 1985 when the United Nations General Assembly adapted resolution A/Res/40/212.

The day is specifically designed for volunteers and their organizations to showcase their contributions. AFS Volunteers, we honor and celebrate all that you make possible! Today, let the world know what you’re doing in your community and for our world.
