Programs in Switzerland
Spend a full year or a fall trimester in Switzerland and attend school while living with a Swiss family. At least 3 years of German or French language study is required for AFS programs to Switzerland.
About Switzerland
Family life is important to the Swiss and you’ll spend time with your host family taking trips to nearby natural resorts, as well as having healthy meals together. You’ll discover a love for the outdoors in this country; the Swiss love to go hiking, skiing, and bicycling in the beautiful mountains and forests. While there are three common languages–German, French, and Italian–you will probably live with a German-speaking host family.
