BP Global Citizens of Tomorrow Scholarship
Students living in the greater Chicago area may be eligible for a full scholarship for a year program to Brazil, China, India, Malaysia or South Africa through the BP Global Citizens of Tomorrow Scholarship program.

Students living in the capital city of Springfield, Illinois are now eligible for some significant local scholarship opportunities.

AFS offers hundreds of scholarships each year through the Global Leaders Scholarship Program, but we have additional financial aid for students from Springfield, Illinois.
There are two $5,000 scholarships available. A $5,000 award is not guaranteed. Award amounts are based on the information you provide in your FAST financial aid application and the funds available at the time you submit your FAST application.
To Qualify:
- Submit your AFS preliminary application (if you haven't already).
- Email scholarships@afs.org to indicate your intent to apply for a Springfield scholarship. We will follow up with appropriate application information.
