Russia Semester High School Program - Spring Departure

Living abroad in Russia offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience a mysterious and historical country. While attending a local high school, you will live with a host family and have many opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities.


High school in Russia involves regular test-taking and reciting works. Your basic subjects such as math, language, history and science will all be readily available. High school in Russia is also where you can get involved in extracurricular activities. You will also have the opportunity for language lessons to help you learn Russian.


Over the course of your program, AFS staff and volunteers will hold a few AFS orientations and side-trips to evaluate your experience, help with your cultural adjustment and show you other beautiful parts of the country.
