Most likely, yes! With more than 115,000 AFS Returnees in the U.S., there are AFSers just about everywhere. Volunteering with AFS is your best way to connect with other Returnees in your area, as well as with future students.
There are so many ways to help interested AFSers-to-be. After you complete the 5 things every AFS Returnee Should do Now, spread the word about international exchange in your community by registering as an AFS Volunteer. Give a presentation of your exchange in your high school language class, or perhaps facilitate a discussion on what culture is, why it’s important to understand in today’s world.

Yes. All Returnees automatically receive the AFS Family Award if they wish to apply for another program. More about studying abroad again with AFS.
