1. Support Future AFSers.
Do you want to share your AFS experience with future AFSers and strengthen your leadership skills? Here are two great ways to get involved: Become a Returnee Ambassador and share your AFS story with your community. Become a Returnee Mentor and help prepare students to depart this summer or fall. Sign up for an online info session today to learn more about these unique opportunities to engage.
2. Join us on Facebook.
Facebook is an easy way keep up with what's going on and AFS has multiple highly active Facebook groups. Keep up with current opportunities and get involved.
3. Share your Photos, Videos, Podcasts, Blogs.
The sights and sounds you experienced and captured while on program can be beneficial and inspiring to a student considering study abroad. Take a minute and share your story with next generation of AFSers:
- Submit Photos:AFS-USA Flickr Photo Drop
- Upload Videos: AFStv will broadcast any video you captured while abroad.
- Send us your Blog URL Address or Podcasts
4. Represent your Host Country.
Now that you're home, spread your AFS expertise to future participants interested in your host country. There are several ways to become a Returnee country expert:
- Be a Returnee Representative on an Online Info Session, Fundraising or Country Call.
- Visit Ask an AFSer and respond to any questions or threads related to your host country.
5. Register to Volunteer.
Become an official member of your local AFS area team. Conduct local events, complete student interviews and work with other volunteers in your area. More Information.
