Columbia Pacific

Welcome to the Columbia Pacific Area Team

"Our Team here in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington is passionate about the AFS mission of a more just and peaceful world through intercultural learning.  Our lives have been enriched by the exchange experience, and we're happy to give back to AFS through our volunteer efforts.  We would love to have you join the AFS family as an Exchange Student, a Host Family or a Volunteer."
- Bernie Gerhardt, Volunteer Chair

What's Going On Right Now?

We had a great Mid-year Orientation and ski trip!  We're planning our National Youth Day of Service project for 2014.  We're going to be working with Habitat for Humanity to work on a home construction project.  It will be a fun day with other exchange students and volunteers.  Join us if you can!

We are still looking for liaisons for exchange students and their host families.  If you're interested, please take a moment to fill out this form.

We have events and orientations throughout the year.  See our calendar for details.

Where Are We Located?

The Columbia Pacific Area is located in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington, near the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean.

How Can You Get Involved?
