The visa application process for Indonesia is detailed, time-consuming, and costly. It involves collecting a number of documents including a birth certificate and a parental consent form. You will need to provide a copy of your valid passport three months before departure. You will need additional support documents from AFS-Indonesia, AFS-USA, and from the Indonesian government.
You may be required to appear at your Consulate in-person. Be prepared to travel to your regional Consulate if necessary.
The visa processing fee is currently between $45-$150 USD. This does not include the cost of obtaining, translating, notarizing, or mailing any required documents.
Fees and requirements are determined by immigration authorities and are subject to change at any time. For help with any terms, please view the Visa Glossary.
