The visa application process for India is relatively easy and somewhat costly. It involves collecting a number of documents including a birth certificate and copies of all your legal guardian’s passports if you are under 18 (State IDs are not accepted). You will receive additional support documents from AFS India.
The visa processing fee is currently $111 USD. This fee does not include any costs associated with obtaining, translating, notarizing, legalizing, or mailing any required documents.
